STATUS:                  Hourly – Bargaining Unit                           CLOSING DATE: 2026.05.19                

SUMMARY:      This position reports to the Supervisor of the department.  The successful applicant will be supporting all Production and Warehouse areas as a Material Handler.

ROLE:                      
  • Perform all duties according to the OHSA&R and Company Policies.
  • Conducts required checks to ensure accuracy of part identification where required.
  • Pick and stage material for Production and stores material in the designated warehouse areas.
  • Pick and deliver packaging, bins, dunnage, racks, and related products to other departments as required by the relevant department managers.
  • Advise of shortage in materials/goods to satisfy Production needs.
  • Takes part and supports cycle count activities.
  • Notifies Supervisor of damages/defects or other serious occurrences related to materials, equipment and facility.
  • Performs housekeeping, clean-up and other 5 S related activities as required.
  • Any other duties as assigned.

DESIRED SKILLS:   
  • Able to follow material handling and inventory procedures.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Team player.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Experience with Active Dynamics Component Parts.
  • Minimum grade 12 or equivalent education.
  • Written & oral aptitude in English.
  • Mathematical aptitude.
  • Conscientious and punctual.
  • Require Lift truck license.

VACANCIES:   1 Afternoon Shift (3:15pm-11:45pm)   
                                
RATE:               $24.58
  • $24.83 - Subject to assessment of skills and qualifications by Active following a 60 working days probationary period
  • Shifts may vary
  • Shift Premium where applicable
